Everywhere at the end of time

As inspiration for the following work:

This clock was part of a larger work that was inspired by research into memory and the work Everywhere at the End of Time by The Caretaker. I found that one of the tests assigned in the past to help monitor the progress of Alzheimer’s disease is the clock test (see image below). Where individuals are asked to draw a clock face. The images I found online depicted clocks that generally held the correct numbers, yet were arranged in completely unexpected ways. This blurring of the boundaries of time and place came about as an interest for my work through reading The Phenomenology of Perception.
